14 Day Hoi An, Da Nang & Hue Sightseeing Tour

Day 1 Sat. (D)
Arrive Da Nang and after exiting immigration and customs be met by your driver waiting to greet you after your overnight flight. Approximately 40 mins Air conditioned transfer to your Villa accommodation in Hoi An. Free time awaiting all arrivals. This evening we have a welcome drink and briefing of weeks activities and issue of maps before heading to a group dinner.

Day 2 Sun. (B,L,D)
Morning walking food tour introducing both local street foods and speciality dishes of Hoi An and Vietnam whilst receiving an orientation of old town. Free afternoon and evening to either explore old town or relax by the swimming pool.

Day 3 Mon. (B,L)
Today is a free day to spend as you see fit. Breakfast will be served at your leisure. Perhaps you would like some clothes, shoes or bags custom made! Maybe some souvenir shopping or you might like to take an optional excursion to the ancient My Son Cham ruins or see the Marble Mountains? Free evening to wander the streets of the old town and inspect the night market and lantern shops.

Day 4 Tue. (B)
This morning after breakfast we jump on our bikes and cycle our way through the local villages and pass the new Cua Dai bridge before a stop at a unique bamboo bike manufacturer. From here we visit the local water coconut village and jump into the unfamiliar round basket boats to explore our way through the water coconut groves. We next ride through the shrimp farms and rice paddies, towards the centuries old herb village where we will have a relaxing herbal foot bath and lunch. After lunch you can either make your way back home for a free afternoon and evening or perhaps travel down to the beach to spend the afternoon and evening there.

Day 5 Wed. (B,L)
This morning we’re eating out again. This time to try another great hidden local breakfast location for a serve of Banh Mi Ca Ri. From here, today is another free day to spend at your leisure. Perfect to do any fittings or another day relaxing at eith Cua Dai or An Bang beaches. Tonight you are free to find your own dinner location at the beach or in the old town.

Day 6 Thu. (B)
Today we have breakfast at our Villa accommodation before heading off on our bicycles once again. This time heading to a local island where we will explore the surrounding countryside and make a number of stops watching locals go about their traditional crafts. Including a demonstration of making rice noodles and tofu with a local family before sitting down for lunch. After lunch, we make our way back to Hoi An where the afternoon and evening is free to make your own arrangements.

Day 7 Fri. (B,L,D)
Breakfast at your leisure in our Villa accomodation or perhaps in town. Those who have puchased shopping a time to finalise any clothes or shoes fittings or stock up on any last minute souvenirs. Afternoon is free to explore or relax at the pool. Tonight we have a farewell get together. A welcome glass of bubbles followed by a structured wine tasting before embarking on a local boat for our last night wine and charcuterie sunset cruise. If you have your party hat on perhaps after the cruise you are free to explore and scout the old town for more drinks or a visit to the Mojito bar!

Day 8 Sat. (B,D)
Hoi An departure day today. For those on the 8 day tour our driver will transfer you back to Da Nang airport for your departure flight after your final breakfast.

For those on the 14 day tour, we head to our Da Nang accomodation then you have free time to spend loooking around Da Nang or relaxing at the famous My Khe beach. Tonight we visit a local Vietnamese BBQ restaurant. Fast and furious charcoal chicken wings and cold beers before visiting one of Danangs most unusual and popular attractions the Dragon Bridge. Tonight it will be blowing both fire and water from its mouth!

Day 9 Sun. (B)
Today is a free day to spend at your leisure. Maybe a day on the beach or a leisurely stroll around the city. Perhaps an optional tour to the famous Marble Mountain or the Son Tra Peninsula to visit monkey mountain or the Lady Buddah? You even have time to either do a "Top Gear" Hai Van Pass tour or visit Ba Na Hills via a cable car to their own French Chateau!

Day 10 Mon (B)
Today a breakfast in our hotel before we head off to undoubtedly the most famous trail of them all. The Ho Chi Minh Trail. Travelling through villages and ricefields heading towards the mountains, we have two stops along the way. The waterfalls then the ethnic minority group of the Co Tu. We stop overnight in Prao and have a group dinner before an early night catching up on a bit of sleep.

Day 11 Tue. (B,L)
This morning we depart our hotel for our journey through the mountains bordering Laos towards the Imperial city of Hue . This undoubtedly one of the most scenic drives you will ever experience! This afternoon on our way into Hue we have a stop to view The historic Japanese bridge before checking in to our hotel for the next 3 nights. We have a welcome drink and briefing about Hue and maps are issued.

Day 12 Wed. (B)
After breakfast in our hotel we are picked up by cyclos for a journey through Hue so as to get your bearings. We finish at the citadel where you are free to enjoy and explore the sights for as long as you wish. This afternoon and tonight is free time to explore yourselves but a visit to the Dong Ba market is a must.

Day 13 Thu (B,D)
Today is our last full day of our central Vietnam experience. After our hotel breakfast at your leisure, you are free to go shopping, or perhaps take an optional extra day tour to the DMZ area. We also offer an optional extra tour that includes a cruise along the Perfume River to the pagoda, a visit to a traditional tea house, the incense making village and the Tu Duc royal tomb. Tonight we come together for our farewell dinner!

Day 14 Fri. (B,L)
Our final day sees us finish our time together and depart Hue after breakfast. Departure times can be staggered to suit individuals flight details and we use a luxury express mini bus for our transfer back to Danang for departure flights back home or your onward journeys to other destinations.
